🚗 Collect Jungle Wagons & Drive to La Fortuna Secret Hotel (2.5hrs)

28th October – Bit Of Adventure/Bit Of Chill/Bit Of Nerves

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • 🚗 <15min Drive Away - Arenal Volcano and Mistico Park / Hanging Bridges
  • Lunch out and about
  • Hot Springs (Maybe Spa?!) – lots of options locally, its hot spring area
  • Evening Chill out and pre-wedding jitters beers

30th October – Recovery Morning/Adventure Afternoon/Evening Chill

  • ​​Breakfast at hotel
  • Chill Out Hangover Morning /Pool If not dead
  • Lunch at Hotel by pool or little local somewhere? Could mosey into fortuna town and explore – 10mins away
  • 🚗 Afternoon Zipling (driving top 15mins) & ‘Sloth Watching Trail’ (same location)
  • Afternoon/Evening Chill Out (or could go into fortuna for dinner instead of lunch)

31st October – Adventure Mission In Jungle Wagons

  • Breakfast at hotel
  • 🚗 Drive to Tamarindo (3.5hrs) – Drive past arenal lake. Break up drive with stops at:
    • Rio Celeste (waterfall inside Tenorio Volcano National Park) Tubing here!! Really would love to do this with everyone!!
    • Bijagua Villlage – lunch stop
    • Tabacon Hot Springs or later on trip Hidden natural thermal pools (free & not tourist spa ones)
    • Sloth Territory / Tapir Valley (Toucans, Monkeys, Sloths, Frogs)
    • Suspension Bridges
  • Arrival at Party Villa – Anchor down for beers and food? Or go out to eat (walking distance) Halloween Fancy Dress!!!

4th November – Optional Adventure Day

  • option a). la Leona waterfall and area? Meant to be epic – rope line through the caves to get to the waterfall.
  • Option b). Diamante Eco Park (‘Superman’ zipling, ATVS, hanging bridges, horseback, quick jump freefall as well as all the animals! Sloths pumas jaguars, monkeys etc)​= something for everyone

5th November – Drive to San Jose & Flight Home

  • Stop for last local delicacy lunch!!
  • 🚗 Could stop at El Toledo Coffee on route – coffee farm – just outside of San Jose. Starbucks farm is on the other side of San Jose.
  • Flight departs 6.30pm.
